The Family Garden was designed in conjunction with Welsh + Major’s alteration and addition to the art deco style home.  

The diverse areas in the garden were designed for the use of the entire family to use and enjoy.  The established garden was amplified with additional planting bringing texture, diversity of species, layers and colour to the garden. 

A series of lozenged-shaped concrete stepping slabs throughout the garden with varied groundcovers in between.  Steppers mimicking the curved elements of the architectural form of the house.  

An intimate curved brick seating area nestled in the rear garden for resting after a tennis game.  Glazed bricks highlighted in whites and olive greens, complimentary to the colours of the tennis court and the cladding to the new sports pavilion.  

A productive garden in a series of corten raised beds for the family to cultivate vegetables and herbs for cooking.  

This garden well enjoyed for all family members.
