Greyleigh

Greyleigh is a 200-acre property established as a dairy in the 1880s on the lands of the Wodi Wodi people in the Illawarra region of South Coast NSW. It features a historical homestead and dairy bales.

Studio Rewild and Emily Simpson Landscape Architecture collaborated on a Masterplan with expansive gardens, a pool and gathering terraces overlooking pastures dotted with Cabbage Tree Palms. The dilapidated site was restored as an accommodation venue for farm stay experiences, weddings and events.

The established orchard, remnant trees, and stone walls are celebrated within a new biodiverse garden, where endemic Illawarra rainforest species have been reintroduced to the site.
