Victorian Terrace, Millers Point

A heritage boarding house converted into home and garden.

Plant species selected to the front of the home were a contemporary take on Victorian period gardens of Sydney (the era when the terrace was built) Victorian gardens of Sydney were the unusual, the eclectic and the collectable.

The rear garden incorporated a wonderful seating area within the garden overlooking the amazing view of the harbour bridge.

Middle eastern edibles were incorporated in the rear garden for the clients who love cooking. Grape vine (for dolmades) , espaliered lemon, lime and pomegranite, parsley, mint (for tabouli) chilli, chives, oregano, rosemary and thyme.

Frangipani and a Tuckeroo tree with leathery lush leaves were planted to provide shade to the Western aspect and a vibrant textural sea of plants was planted to the understory.

Light wells and balconies were installed with custom copper wall planters with cascading plants.
